As Saffat, 71 Ayah

37:71

وَلَقَدۡ ضَلَّ قَبۡلَهُمۡ أَكۡثَرُ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ ٧١

Wa Laqad Đalla Qablahum 'Aktharu Al-'Awwalīna

And there had already strayed before them most of the former peoples,
